At our school, every child is valued, nurtured and encouraged to grow into the best version of themselves. Rooted in Christian principles, we want our pupils to flourish academically, socially and personally in a joyful, welcoming and supportive community where children feel safe, confident and excited to learn.
Our vision and ethos is underpinned by the following quote from Joshua 1:9
'Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God is always with you.'
As an inclusive, Christian school, both adults and children are valued and strong relationships are built on trust and respect. We give children the space to discover their strengths, build positive relationships and develop the character that will help them thrive in the world beyond our school.
At Netheravon, the value of service is at the heart of all we do. With many of our parents currently serving in the Armed Forces, it is also a strong value within those in our community. Children are encouraged to recognise, and show service to one another in school and the wider community.

In our school, all adults help children develop courage by creating a safe and supportive environment where everyone believes they can be confident to have a go, take risks and believe in themselves. Children are taught that courage isn’t only about being brave in big moments, but also about courageous advocacy, trying something new, learning from mistakes and persevering when things feel challenging. Staff encourage children to step out of their comfort zone, praising effort, resilience and determination.

We understand faith as a sense of hope, trust and belief in something bigger than ourselves. As a community, we are committed to helping children grow in faith by giving them meaningful opportunities to think, reflect and explore the values that guide them.
We work closely with all our Acorn Education Trust family of schools to enrich the primary curriculum and to create opportunities for an educationally seamless journey from 3 to 18 years of age.
